Recent collaboration
What a stunner! I loved collaborating with Arielle Doneson Photography and Courtney Strakosch, our model for the day and Barre instructor at Starr Yoga
The inspiration for this boudoir look was Bardot meets California girl and I kept the makeup soft and sun kissed. I'm so excited to feature these on here!!
Classic and clean bridal look photographed by Heather Parker Photography
How amazing is this bridesmaids' skin!!!!!
Fall wedding in Boston
How adorable are these two?! Craig (bride) wanted to look dewy, fresh and young (her words). I love how elegantly simple she kept her hair! Sometimes less IS more-especially with a stunning gown like that! Perfect look for a city wedding.
Engagement pics
Announcing your engagement is one of the most exciting parts of getting married. I love being part of a couple's journey from the very start:)
Please take a look at these fun shots taken at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain, MA
Jennifer, the soon to be bride, wanted a pretty, fresh and effortless look- Thank you Arielle Doneson for sharing these images!
(Jennifer and Jon...and of course, Gretta the dog!)
Renée Tatum
It's hard to be more glamorous than this gorgeous and super talented woman! I had the pleasure to create a few different looks for mezzo-soprano Renée Tatum's new head shots taken by amazing photographer Arielle Doneson
We had so much fun with the more dramatic look in the lace dress below! I enjoyed contouring her cheek bones with this MAC sculpting powder-the depth in the eye crease was created with softly blended MAC shadow in handwritten.
Here are some of my favorite shots and below.
Beautiful May 2015 wedding
I'm swooning over these images! Amazing work by Summer Street Photography! For her bridal makeup Emily requested a soft and elegant look with the main focus on the eyes. Her bridesmaids were equally delightful and gorgeous to work with.
Savvyist Beauty
Thanks for the mention Savvyist :) If you haven't already heard of it, check out the link and get hooked. Think of it as a part makeup encyclopedia part Instagram. It was founded in Boston and is an absolute must if you are a product junkie and love social media. I also love their bi-weekly makeup challenges and I got to vote on the recent Bombshell Beauty theme. Spread the word about this awesome app!!!
More skin!
I can't stress it enough. Take care of your skin! Here is what I'm about to try...I will report.
Botanical skin boosters
Let's face it! Makeup simply looks better on hydrated and prepped skin. I'm always looking for products that deliver results but are safe (botanical and paraben free). Please take a look below at my current skin care regimen.
I can't live without my Chantecaille Vital Essence anymore! Just a couple of pumps prior to your daily moisturizer will leave your skin looking bright and glowing. My extra dose of hydration comes from the wonderful and luxurious Chantecaille Rose de Mai.
If you've been looking for a power house moisturizer and anti-aging product, look no further! Chantecaille Stress Repair Concentrate will target dark circles, dehydration as well as puffiness around the eye area. Lastly, always end with SPF. Chantecaille Ultra Sun Protection SPF 50 is a lightweight formula that literally melts into the skin and leaves no tacky film. If you don't have time to book a facial before a big event (interview, engagement pics?) I'm obsessed with the organic Andalou Glycolic mask. Amazing and inexpensive! Now we can talk makeup!!
